This cabin and property was beautiful and a perfect way to see Olympic. We were able to see all the coastal beaches and the Hoh Rainforest all around 30/40 minutes from the cabin. The property was like a park itself and our kids loved throwing rocks in the river. It’s a new property so everything is spotless. The bathrooms were outstanding. Great showers, super clean, and the soap smelled amazing! We felt Hannah and team were excellent hosts and added a lot of little things to make it extra special. Would stay here again in a minute.

This place was a dream! The nearby river, lush trails, and trees dripping with moss painted an absolutely gorgeous scene every day. One evening, we saw elk in the nearby pasture, which was a lovely surprise. The house itself was not only beautiful, but comfortable. I can’t wait to return!

This a huge place that is incredibly private. The cabin has everything you could need—one of the most well appointed Airbnbs we’ve stayed at. We saw elk and deer every night in the fields. Despite feeling remote, it is very convenient to the main Olympic National Park sights in the area.

This was a very well built-house on a gorgeous parcel of private property. The craftsmanship is not only evident in the log construction, but also in the masonry/concrete foundation all the way up to the stunning metal roof! Even the treehouse was a work of art that was better constructed than most ordinary houses! And the landscaping and outdoor lighting were also spectacular and much more extensive than I ever expected. While my wife & I, daughter, son-in-law, 8 year old grandson, son, and his girlfriend primarily used this house as a launching point to visit the Hoh Rain Forest, Rialto Beach, Sol Duc Hot Springs, and Ruby Beach, I would suggest leaving sufficient time to enjoy this property itself. For our family, we made multiple meals, let my grandson use the treehouse, and made S'mores on the bon fire. This was truly a spectacular setting!

We had an amazing time at the AlderMoss Retreat! The property is massive and beautifully maintained with rainforest hiking trails on the property itself. You will be within a short drive of all the epic beaches and rainforests the Olympic Peninsula has to offer. I will say that the Retreat itself is so beautiful and surrounded by nature that it was always hard to leave. The log cabin was thoughtfully decorated and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need. The bathrooms were super clean with plenty of towels for all. As a special note for any shower snobs out there you can rest assured that the water pressure, temperature, and shower heads all met our high standards and we thoroughly enjoyed cleaning off every night after being out in nature all day. After a hot shower the comfy beds were ready to snuggle us up and get us rested up for the next day’s adventures. It’s clear Hannah and Chelsea know what they’re doing and we are already thinking of coming back.
